Some more photos from Mom and Dad's visit

In addition to San Diego, we spent some time at the beach and in Santa Monica.  Here are photos.

My little girl is growing up!

My precious little girl lost her first tooth this weekend!  We didn't get it on video, but here are some photos right after it came out!

Big Labor Day Weekend

We had a blast with Mom and Dad this weekend.  I'll post pictures later in the week after I get caught up at work.  I've been at work about six hours and am just getting my inbox down to scraps.

It was our first trip to Legoland.  It's a magical place.  To me, it was not nearly as fun as Disneyland, but the kids loved it.  The best part was the amazing skylines of US cities made of Legos.  Gheesh...I had no idea thy could do that.  They used 20 MILLION bricks to build NYC, Washington, New Orleans, San Francisco, a New England fishing village, and a midwestern farm town.  It was amazing.  They had Lego trains, boats, and cars all automated and moving around the "US".  Really amazing.  I might even post some video on YouTube.

We also spent a day just hanging out in San Diego and another in Santa Monica.  Both days were lots of fun.  A personal highlight was the magic show at Magicopolis in Santa Monica.  It was really a blast.  How do they do that stuff?

Finally, what trip to Malibu would be complete without a day at the beach.  We spent Labor Day at Zuma beach.  It was crowded, but a perfect day...about 75 degrees and a gentle breeze.  We are so blessed.

Stay tuned for photos...

Happy Birthday, Dr. Smith!

A big shout-out to my good buddy, David Smith.  He's officially an old guy today.  Perhaps he'll pick up one of those "Old Guys Rule" t-shirts from the t-shirt store in malibu.
